Get to Know Kelsey Hill, DMD

Dr. Hill isn’t shy about saying that she absolutely loves dentistry. She loves helping people regain their confidence by giving them the smile they have always dreamed of. She loves restoring her patients’ oral health, which in turn improves their overall health and well-being. She loves that dentistry is science and art combined, and she loves the connections she gets to build with everyone who comes to see her. Her passion is obvious in everything that she does, and she can’t wait to welcome you into our practice!
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Hill’s dad was a dentist who had his own practice, so she grew up helping him and saw firsthand how important dental care was for the community. Since she was a little girl, she knew she wanted to be just like him and have a career that can positively impact people’s lives for decades to come.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After earning her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Stonehill College, Dr. Hill graduated as valedictorian from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2014. She started practicing in Milton, MA, and after a year, she knew she wanted to get back to her roots and returned to Maine.
Dr. Hill went on to practice in Gorham for the next 9+ years, and it was there she earned her Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. She joined DOCS (Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation), was trained in oral sedation, and today, is able to provide IV sedation. Dr. Hill is one of the few general dentists in the state that holds this type of certification.
In 2016, Dr. Hill took an immersive course in guided dental implant treatment. She loves placing implants and taking a procedure that seems so "scary" to most and making it simple, easy, and predictable. So far, she has taken on average 100 hours of continuing education each year to keep her skills as sharp as they can be, ensuring she can consistently provide her patients with state-of-the-art care.
Dr. Hill is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Originally from Dover-Foxcroft, Dr. Hill is married to a wonderful man named Ryan, a CPA who has his own tax planning business. They have two young boys, Graham and Brooks, and enjoy hiking, boating, and doing all kinds of physical activity together as a family. Lately, as their children are getting into sports, Dr. Hill and her husband find themselves cheering them on from the sidelines on most weekends. They also love to travel and try to go on a few trips each year.
